Joe is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a lifelong passion for movement, performance, and helping people feel their best. Joe has worked a personal trainer for the past eight years, working with clients of all ages and abilities - from individuals focused on general health and weightlifting to those training in MMA, boxing, and kickboxing. His experience also includes over a decade of volunteer coaching in wrestling, as well as teaching women’s self-defence, where he enjoyed helping people build confidence, develop practical skills, and feel empowered both physically and mentally.

Throughout his career, Joe has worked with a wide variety of people, including children, teens, adults, seniors, individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, and people with disabilities, including those who are blind or use wheelchairs. He believes every person deserves care that is individualized, compassionate, and tailored to their unique needs and goals.

As a lifelong athlete, Joe understands firsthand the demands that physical activity places on the body. He has competed professionally in mixed martial arts and has an amateur background in both boxing and wrestling. His athletic journey also includes many years of playing hockey and rugby, giving him a well-rounded understanding of performance, injury recovery, and the importance of helping the body move and function at its best.

Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts from Brock University before initially pursuing a career in firefighting. Along the way, he explored a wide range of treatment approaches while searching for the most effective way to help people recover, move better, and live with less pain. It was through this journey that he discovered osteopathy. He was drawn to its whole-body philosophy and its focus on identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction rather than simply treating symptoms. Seeing the meaningful difference this approach could make in people’s lives inspired him to change career paths and dedicate himself to osteopathic care.

Outside the clinic, Joe continues to train in mixed martial arts and enjoys exploring creative pursuits, including acting and filmmaking. Whether he’s working with someone recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, improving athletic performance, or simply looking to move through life with less pain, Joe is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care that helps people improve their quality of life and achieve lasting results.
